THE INTERPRETATION CENTRE
No visit to the Hellyers Road Distillery is complete without a personally guided Whisky Walk.
Be led through to a scent of malt and barley gently wafting through from behind closed doors and experience the true essence of the Distillery. See and handle the ingredients of the whisky, learn about Henry Hellyer and the Legacy of Hellyers Road, or watch the informative DVD of the distilling process.
Next, venture upstairs (or take the lift) to experience the thrill of pouring, and wax sealing your very own bottle of Hellyers Road, complete with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Swing open a set of doors to overlook the fascinating 'heart' of Hellyers Road Distillery, the distillery itself. See the ultra-clean and modern distilling process while taking in the unique malt aroma.
Swing open the second set of doors to reveal the barrel storage area where you are actually close enough to reach out and touch the original American Oak casks which will eventually be the home of the whisky itself.
