When we are not distilling outstanding whisky, we're utilising the same quality processes to produce a Premium Grain Vodka.

Apart from single malt production we also utilise our state-of-the-art distillery to produce a vodka that has 3 key components - barley based, pot-stilled and charcoal filtered.

Vodka experts agree that the choice of pot or column still has a fundamental effect on the final character of vodka.

Whilst all vodka comes out of the still as a clear, colourless spirit, vodka from a pot still (the same sort used for our " Original" single malt whisky) will contain some of the delicate aromatics, congeners, and flavor elements of the crop from which it was produced.

Our delicate Southern Lights pot-stilled vodka contains stunning barley flavour elements, and these are simply married with our pure Tasmanian rainwater. This ensures that these flavours are not diluted by water that may have come from underground aquifers.

And the bonus - It's all Tasmanian - Tasmanian barley, Tasmanian triple pot-still distillation, charcoal filtered and then married with Tasmanian rainwater.

Southern Lights Cold Grain Vodka is being embraced in Australia and overseas as a new generation vodka far removed from so many poor pretenders.
